This welcoming four-star hotel is well known as a great group destination because of the scale of its facilities. The hotel has 254 rooms and suites and is surrounded by a popular golf course. Meanwhile, the spa is divided into general leisure facilities (gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi), while a vast thermal suite sits separately within the spa. This is where you can relax and unwind on your own or with friends, before a treatment in one of their 23 treatment rooms including a hammam chamber and rasul room (perfect for shared, self-administered therapies).

An exquisite, five-star hotel in the Staffordshire countryside, Hoar Cross Hall is surrounded by 50 acres of gardens and invites you to enjoy a retreat in the exquisite Jacobean manor house. Stay in sumptuous rooms and suites, dine surrounded by William Morris wallpaper and Sienna marble mantelpieces, roam in the manicured gardens and spend time cycling, playing croquet, tennis, boules or trying your hand at archery. The spa itself is a feast of experiences, from jogging trails to a a 26-metre saltwater vitality pool. Pennyhill Park has been setting the standard for five-star hotel and spa experiences for many years, and its crown remains firmly intact. The hotel has an international reputation for excellence, in a Tudor manor house that dates back to 1609, turned into an all-singing, all-dancing destination. Wake to views of gardens brimming with topiary, decorative ponds and waterfalls, and dine in two restaurants including The Latimer, which has a Michelin Star. The spa is a destination in its own right - at 45,000 sq. ft it's a world of wellbeing, from their own spa cafe to their ballroom pool with underwater music, their indoor and outdoor thermal pools and Natura Bissé ‘bubble’ treatments. There are 23 beautifully appointed treatment rooms, where therapists use Natura Bissé, Jessica Nails and Mii makeup.

AIRE Ancient Baths London is a luxurious, candlelit spa that recreates the ancient tradition of the thermal suite in style. Located in a restored Georgian building, the space features seven different baths taking you on a journey to relax mind and body, to relax, cleanse, and prepare for spa treatments.

Banya No.1 - Hoxton is a great example in the UK - an authentic bathhouse based on a traditional Russian Banya and ancient wellbeing practices. Designed around the centuries-old wellness tradition of Nordic thermal cycles, you go through different heat, ice, and restful experiences from the intense heat of the Parnaya steam sauna to a euphoric dip in the icy plunge pool. There's also space to rest in a private booth with traditional Eastern European and Russian food and drink, crafted to maintain your electrolyte balance and enhance your overall wellbeing.

Famed for its natural spring waters, Malvern is a historic spa town, and this was its first spa, having opened in 1910. The retreat is a chic destination that embraces its heritage, with facilities including a 20 metre indoor/outdoor pool that remains at a constant and optimum (by hydrotherapy standards) 35⁰ C, a thermal suite, and a gym. Treatments range from the holistic Elemis to the non-surgical CACI facials for an experience that has something for every spa lover.

Perhaps the most famous thermal baths in the UK, Thermae Bath Spa is the best of traditional and contemporary spa experiences, located in the heart of a World Heritage Site. A unique spa experience, here you can bathe in Britain’s only natural thermal waters, just as the Romans did over 2,000 years ago. Contemporary facilities combine with ancient history to provide outstanding thermal spa experiences, a menu of over 30 different spa treatments and a spa café to enjoy a light bite. A three-hour experience per booking, make sure you head for the open-air rooftop pool with spellbinding views overlooking the city of Bath.
