Spa & Leisure
Surrounded by 300 acres of parkland, Rudding Park’s spa has had a spectacular makeover and as a result is now one of the most comprehensive and beautiful spas in the UK, recapturing Harrogate’s spa heritage using natural spring water from the grounds. Set over three floors, The spa is a feast for the senses and a complete thermal experience. It includes an indoor pool, juniper log sauna and a rasul. The treatment continues with the Escape Zone designed to offer relaxation through visual stimulus, sound and mindfulness. There’s also the Roof Top Spa, which includes a further hydrotherapy infinity pool, a panoramic sauna, a herbal bath steam, luxury steam room, foot spa, experience shower, and a sun deck, with a spa bath and a garden sauna cabin.
Details are carefully attended to in this magical place of wellbeing, and as such it doesn’t stop with the facilities. There’s a manicure, pedicure and make-up bar, a life style gift shop, hairdresser and the spa’s own Horto Cafe. The jewel in its crown of course are the 11 treatment rooms, including a VIP Room with a feature copper bath, where therapists use a combination of products from Carita (technologically-advanced, results-driven and anti-ageing), Elemental Herbology (based around the Five Element theory from traditional Chinese medicine), Ila (encapsulated in its maxim, ‘beyond organic’) and Jennifer Young (created specifically for the safety and benefit of cancer patients).
Hotel & Accommodation
Rudding Park is a privately owned luxury hotel and spa in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, with 90 bedrooms, two restaurants, a private cinema, two golf courses and a golf academy, and it has been voted in the top three hotels in the UK for ten consecutive years. A Grade One listed Regency property, it fuses contemporary design with traditional elegance and a warm, rich colour palette alongside spectacular views.
By night Horto provides contemporary fine dining with seasonal dishes inspired by the Kitchen Garden. Meanwhile, The Clocktower restaurant and bar has two AA Rosettes for its menu of locally sourced and seasonal dishes. A bar menu is also available with a range of dishes including the ever popular Yorkshire tapas, all served against a stylish modern backdrop with a 400 year old Catalonian olive tree in the conservatory.
