Super stylish and brimming with both heritage and modern details, The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery is a hotel and spa experience like no other. An unusual city gem, this brand new destination sits in a historic building and is perfect for seductive romantic getaways or a celebratory trip with friends.
The hotel
Formerly the home of Liverpool City Council, the building that houses The Municipal Hotel has lots of beautiful details that have been kept and celebrated with the new design. The city landmark features a famous clock tower with bells that ring a timeless melody, as well as vaulted arches, coffered ceilings, wood panelling and marble fireplaces across its 179 rooms and suites.
The hotel restaurant
The Seaforth Restaurant is very much the heart of the hotel, serving up global fare and a vibrant atmosphere. That said, the Palm Court Bar definitely competes for attention, located in a central atrium with spectacular glass ceilings and large palm trees that make you feel like you've stepped into another world. Grab a cocktail and watch the world go by.
The spa
The Thermae Spa is a really special experience in the heart of the city. Start with a swim in a pool that enjoys city views. Then prepare mind, body and soul for rest and relation in the sauna, steam room, sanarium, experience showers and a Jacuzzi.
The spa treatments
The spa uses a delicious combination of Elemis and Grown Alchemist products in their face and body treatments, and has four treatment rooms including a dual suite for therapies in case you want time with your bestie. There's also a nail bar for manicures and pedicures - great for time with friends - and a relaxation room so you can stay and maximise the feel good factor.
The spa location
The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery is definitely somewhere you never want to leave, but it's also spectacularly located for enjoying time in Liverpool. On Dale Street in the heart of the city, you step out to find yourself at the centre of this little universe. There's a wealth of things to do while you're here, amongst them, why not try:
- A wander around the Royal Albert Dock
- Explore The Williamson Tunnels
- Shop 'til you drop at boutiques and markets
- Listen to live music at The Cavern Club (where the Beatles played before they were famous)
