Alternatively, use it as a base for popping across to Paris thanks to its location just five minutes by car from the Eurostar. A modern hotel on the outskirts of the city, The Nottingham Belfry is conveniently located, while contemporary design throughout the building is largely constructed of glass. The Nottingham Belfry welcomes groups and hen parties, while the city has a vibrant nightlife for guests to explore.
A 17th century building with architecture that belies its Jacobean history, Crewe Hall has played host to royals including George V and Queen Mary. On the north of the Crewe Hall estate, nestled amongst the fields and forested gardens, is the health club. It’s a 21st century addition to the historic hotel as being family friendly, in close proximity to Alton Towers, Chester Zoo and Chatsworth House.
Originally built in 1859, Dunston Hall is an Elizabethan-style mansion that, having been restored, is now home to an all-encompassing hotel with an abundance of entertainment and leisure facilities. With its own on-site football pitch, golf course and extensive grounds to explore, by its mere location, Dunston Hall provides a wealth of health boosting activities.
The Hampshire Court Hotel has 90 rooms, ranging from standard double and twin options to superior rooms and Q Star Rooms with enough space for fold out beds. Being a group venue, there are also options for interconnecting doors, it’s perfect for families, as well as giving parents time to themselves. For example, there are two swimming pools - one for the little ones, and one for adults only - and they also deliver beautiful spa treatments.
