Hotel & Accommodation
In 25 acres of beautiful gardens on the Scottish Borders, Barony Castle is an unmissable white beacon of fairytale romance to escape to at any time of the year. This is a historic hotel with a modern twist, with all the character of a 16th century tower house, and the mod-cons of a contemporary hotel. Its grounds include the unique Great Polish Map of Scotland, a large three-dimensional, outdoor concrete scale model of Scotland which recently featured on the BBC, while a variety of rooms and suites offer guests all home comforts you would expect on offer from Classic Rooms to the Dean View Suite.
During your stay make sure to visit the restaurant, Thomson’s @ The Castle, where head chef William Thomson constructs menus for the customers using fresh and seasonal ingredients, with individual tastes and dietary requirements taken into consideration. Meanwhile, the Blue Dug Bar offers a wide range of drinks as well as bar snacks, and the Murray Lounge is the ideal retreat to watch sporting highlights, with an Xbox and PS4 also available to guests in the lounge.
