Spa & Leisure

In stark but complementary contrast to the historic surroundings, the health club and ESPA spa at Castlemartyr are spectacular in all their contemporary glory. Looking out onto the gardens and grounds as you work out in the gym or swim lengths in the pool thanks to the glass cube that houses it all, other facilities include male and female relaxation and vitality lounges, a steam room, sauna, and a jet pool.

Thanks to the expertise of the ESPA brand that provides the treatments, there are seven individual treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, and four manicure/pedicure stations, providing guests with a range of treatments and therapies from facials and massages to finishing touches.

Hotel & Accommodation

A grand 17th century country manor adjacent to the ruins of an 800 year old castle, Castlemartyr is a five star hotel located in the scenic surroundings of County Cork in Ireland. With 103 rooms and suites, design is individual, classic, and simultaneously contemporary across all accommodation, while self-catering lodges are also available within the hotel grounds – ideal for families and small groups.

Food and drink is opulently catered for, with several dining options including the AA Rosette awarded Bell Tower Restaurant serving modern Irish cuisine; Franchini’s casual Italian dining experience; and the informal Clubhouse for lighter options. Drinks are also served in the elegant and relaxed Knights Bar, and afternoon tea is a must-do part of the Castlemartyr experience.
