Hotel & Accommodation

A cosmopolitan clubhouse with a strong sense of history, The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square is a beautiful building amidst a beautiful private garden square. It is made up of seven inter-connecting Georgian townhouses in the heart of the New Town, a UNESCO world heritage site. After a multi-million restoration, all rooms and suites have a smart look that is inspired by the golden age of travel and all the warmth of Scottish hospitality.

Continuing that sense of beauty and nostalgia, with all the best of contemporary design, the hotel’s restaurant, The Garden, is an oasis of calm with a glass roof that’s open all hours from breakfast through to drinks in the wee hours. Meanwhile, the restaurant, BABA, is the result of a beautiful partnership with the award-wining team behind Ox and Finch.
