Designed to harness the power of the tranquillity of Lough Leane, the spa has been created with natural and holistic elements in mind. Facilities include 10 treatment rooms, a couple’s suite, a relaxation area and a thermal suite which includes a laconium, a hammam, a rock sauna, and an aroma grotto. There is also a separate Health Club with an indoor heated pool and waterfall, as well as an adjacent Jacuzzi.
Proudly using the Irish product house VOYA for their treatments, highly trained therapists are adept at creating a personalised experience for you. Products are known for harnessing the healing properties of organic Irish seaweed in a wide range of carefully crafted treatments that range from facials and massages to Himalayan rejuvenation and finishing touches.
Key Features
- Five star facilities
- Exceptional location with panoramic views of Lough Leane and the Killarney mountains
- A fine dining restaurant
- Just 19 minutes from Kerry Airport
- Next to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club
Fusing both luxury and contemporary style, Aghadoe Heights is a five star hotel and a real lesson in modern decadence and relaxation. Perhaps amongst its most impressive features are the panoramic views that it offers. In a landscape that is second to none, few things are more inspiring than the views of Lough Leane and the Kerry countryside, which you can admire from all angles. For example, there are 74 rooms and suites, each of which offers a variation on views of either the lake, mountains, or hotel garden. Also unique to the hotel spa is its impressive history at the site of the first known Christian settlement in the fifth century, and as a major centre of learning across the centuries with the lake’s name meaning ‘place of learning’.
Continuing the theme of impressive views, guests continue to take in Killarney’s lakes and mountains at The Heights Lounge and Piano Bar. Stop by for a light bite to eat or stay for the afternoon tea. For a heartier meal, The Lake Room is a fine dining favourite complete with a warm atmosphere. For a less formal vibe, guests can also spend dine from the light bites menu in to The Terrace Bar. It has a reputation as Aghadoe’s worst kept secret, providing the ideal place for a night cap or aperitif.
