Named as one of the UK’s best day spas by MSN Style, the Alton Towers Spa is a relaxed environment with a sense of fun. Complete with a pool, whirlpool, hot tub, multi-sensory showers, steam room, foot reflexology bath, laconium, sauna and meditation room, there is something to keep you occupied for the whole day.
Treatments are not in short supply either thanks to therapists who personalize the experience to suit your needs, using the high-end product house Decleor. There is also a range of finishing touches and beauty options available using Shellac Nails, Fake Bake, and Delilah make-up.
The resort has the choice of three rather unique hotels and an enchanted village full of lodges and treehouses. The Alton Towers hotel is themed around the explorer, Sir Algenon, and is filled to the brim with quirky appeal and interesting features to discover, in particular the flying ship, which has crash-landed in the middle of the hotel. Meanwhile, Splash Landings Hotel is more of a tropical escape; with a a Caribbean hideaway theme there is also a huge Waterpark bursting out at the middle! There are lots of options when it comes to dinner and drinks in the evening, from an all-you-can-eat buffet at Flambo’s Jambos, to a classic brasserie menu in the Secret Garden Restaurant. The Emperor Grill is the place to go for specialist steak and wines, The Atrium offers light bites throughout the day, and there are numerous bars, where you can either join in with all of the evening entertainment or sit back with a drink and relax.
