Part of the nationwide Bannatyne collection of leisure destinations, Bannatyne Health Club & Spa, Shrewsbury is a brand new facility that opened in 2017. Complete with a wide array of contemporary facilities, it is surrounded by a beautiful 12-hole golf course, and provides a relaxing environment in which to work out and wind down.
Leisure facilities in the health club part of the spa include a state of the art gym with Technogym treadmills and plate-loaded resistance machines, resistance and functional training equipment. There is also space dedicated to functional training such as HIIT, classes and personal training.
Meanwhile, wet facilities include a pool for lap swimming, a sauna and steam room, while the spa area offers a little oasis of quiet where guests can have an Elemis treatment in single or double rooms, chat at the manicure and pedicure stations, and unwind on one of the heated loungers in the relaxation room.
After your spa and leisure experience you can also catch up with friends over a light bite or a cup of coffee in one of the cafe bars or the on-site Starbucks.
