Sometimes spa treatments are best when shared. Bringing romance and wellbeing together, here are some of our top recommended spa treatments for couples…
Luxury hammam at Dolphin Square
A top-to-toe Moroccan cleansing experience, Dolphin Square’s take on the hammam begins with a mint leaf foot ritual which adapts your body temperature for the steam room and start the relaxation process. After washing, a purifying rose scented rhassoul clay scrub is applied to face and body before you relax in the steam room for five minutes. The scrub is then removed with a mitt and the same process is applied with a moisturising wash and the ritual is completed with a traditional dousing of orange blossom and rose water followed by a rose body oil. While the 55 minute hammam is a beautiful treatment in itself, to really make it special follow it up with a 25 minute aromatherapy massage designed to relax.

A sand burial treatment
If you really want to go for wow factor then a trip to the desert for a sand burial treatment is the way to go. Lay side by side in sunken hot sand tubs at Dunes by Al Nahda, then you’re wrapped in fabric with fresh fruit over your eyes and a liquid aloe vera mask on your face. A mix of milk, wine and oils are then softly poured over the body and after 20 minutes before you move to a relaxation area and a creamy yogurt is applied to your body. The treatment then finishes with a massage.
