At Ballykisteen, you get two for the price of one, with beauty and treatment rooms and leisure club both available on site. This gives you the opportunity to head to the beauty and treatment rooms for some good old fashioned pampering, after a workout in the pool and a sweat in the steam room. The facilities at Ballykisteen Hotel include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and a fully equipped gym. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course, opened in 1993.
The beauty and treatment rooms at Ballykisteen offer invigorating body treatments through their rejuvenating therapeutic techniques. They hold easing body tensions and soothing the mind very highly, which is reflected in their treatment options. They offer packages that apply specifically to mums-to-be, as well as the usual treatments you’d expect, from massages, facials, and reflexology, to manicures, pedicures, and spray tanning. The product house of choice is Decléor to maintain the body’s harmony and balance by using aromatherapy.
Nestled away in the shadow of the Galtee Mountains, Ballykisteen is in the heart of County Tipperary, and you can see why this is such a popular wedding venue. The bedrooms are both spacious and all have en-suite bathrooms as well as a range of facilities. Stylishly decorated, many of them have views of either the golf course or Tipperary racecourse. For a bit of extra space you can upgrade to a Junior suite, or if you have brought your own juniors along, then family rooms are also available.
Junction One Restaurant offers views of the Galtee Mountains to accompany your meal or drinks. Executive Head Chef, Adrian Usher, prides himself on using the freshest Tipperary produce and speciality local foods. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served daily, and on Thursdays you can enjoy a special midweek treat with a deal on a four-course dinner and bottle of house wine for two people. For a more casual dining experience you can head to Junction One Bar, providing an extensive menu for a light meal at any time of the day. On a sunny day it is possible to dine al fresco on the outside terraces.
