Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire, was originally part of the 11th-century Needwood Forest estate, owned by Henry de Ferrers. It has had many owners, most notably Hugo Francis Meynell Ingram and his wife Emily Charlotte Wood, who began constructing the current Hoar Cross Hall in 1862. The property was then a private residence until 1989 when Stephen Joynes acquired the property, transforming it into a health spa. Since 2014, Hoar Cross Hall has been owned by Barons Eden, a hospitality group specialising in wellness destinations.

Surrounded by 50 acres of grounds and gardens in the Staffordshire countryside, Hoar Cross Hall sits at the end of a winding driveway. If you are driving, follow directions to DE13 8QS. There is free on-site parking for guests and electric charging points are available for a charge of £20 per night. The closest train station is Lichfield Trent Valley which is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. The closest airport is East Midlands Airport which is a 45-minute drive away.

Hoar Cross Hall was built between 1862 and 1871 by Hugo Francis Meynell Ingram and his wife, Emily Charlotte Wood. The construction replaced an earlier manor house on the estate.

• Two designated accessible bedrooms providing 24-hour pull cord assistance and assisted bathrooms
• Five ground floor bedrooms suitable for limited access.
• Wheelchair accessible entry to both the Hotel and the day Spa.
• Pool hoist for the Saltwater Pool only.
  
• There is not a hoist for any Spa or Hydrotherapy Pool.
• The heat room doors are not wide enough to fit wheelchairs
• The heat room area off of the saltwater swimming pool is accessible via wheelchair.
