Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire, was originally part of the 11th-century Needwood Forest estate, owned by Henry de Ferrers. It has had many owners, most notably Hugo Francis Meynell Ingram and his wife Emily Charlotte Wood, who began constructing the current Hoar Cross Hall in 1862. The property was then a private residence until 1989 when Stephen Joynes acquired the property, transforming it into a health spa. Since 2014, Hoar Cross Hall has been owned by Barons Eden, a hospitality group specialising in wellness destinations.
