Spa & Leisure

Famous for its healing waters, it is perhaps no surprise that Hotel du Vin chose the Victorian spa town of Harrogate as one of the locations for a Health du Vin spa to accompany the centrally located hotel. Equipped with a pared-down sanctuary of a spa there is an aromatherapy steam room, experience shower and relaxation room. They also offer a broad range of aromatherapy ESPA treatments including body wraps, massages, facials, Jessica manicures, St Tropez tanning, and a host of pampering packages especially for men.

Hotel & Accommodation

A hotel since the 1930s created from a row of eight Georgian houses, the forty-eight room hotel is cosy and intimate and well versed in the art of excellent service. Overlooking a two hundred acre common known as The Stray – the hotel combines the convenience and local sightseeing of an urban hotel with the relaxing effects of green panoramas.

There is a billiards room, cellar snug and a courtyard for alfresco dining in the summer, so the hotel is not short on places to relax with a drink – which of course this venue specialises in – boasting a wine list of global variety guided by Sommelier Mark Perlaki. At the hotel’s epicentre the Bistro under the direction of head chef Kevin Whiteford serves elegant French styled cuisine, taking advantage of the local produce that is readily available.
