The first J Wellness Circle in Europe, the spa at St James’ Court is a unique collaboration between Taj hotels' award-winning J Wellness Circle concept and the British lifestyle brand TEMPLESPA. A fusion of Indian wellness philosophy and luxury British innovation, the stylish space where guests can work out and wind down, wrap up in luxurious robes and slippers, and journey through the vitality bathing area, steam sauna and open shower, before finding peace in the relaxation area. There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness centre and Technogym for workouts.
Treatments are very much at the heart of the spa experience, bringing together J Wellness Circle traditional Indian treatments dedicated to nurturing the body, with TEMPLESPA’s contemporary Mediterranean wellness philosophy and results-driven products. The result is exceptional rituals and treatments such as a signature three-hour dual ritual for optimum rejuvenation. There are two single treatment rooms and one couples' suite, as well as The Green Room hair salon, where a team of stylists provide haircuts, treatments and blow dries, using premium haircare products, including Kérastase, Aveda, Wella, K18, and Olaplex.
Perfectly placed between Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, St James’ Court brings four-star luxury from India’s Taj hotels and fuses it with quintessentially English style. Sitting adjacent to its sister hotel, the five-star Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, it centres around an exquisite courtyard, complete with a fountain, swimming fish and beautiful outdoor spaces to relax in. Offering guests the brand’s signature Golden Keys Concierge Service, you stay in 329 newly-designed rooms, which combine modern luxuries with the historic features of the building.
Guests have a choice of four restaurants to dine in at the hotel, including the Michelin-starred Quilon. TH@51 Restaurant & Bar has something for everyone with its international favourites, and in the summer TH@51 Courtyard is open for alfresco dining or seasonal cocktails by the fountain. Kona is the destination of choice for award-winning, themed afternoon teas. Quilon takes you on a tantalising journey along the south west coast of India, blending traditional and modern flavours in a range of dishes, many designed for sharing. Alternatively, you might also choose to hop in a cab to nearby Bombay Brasserie for authentic flavours of the subcontinent in a contemporary gourmet experience. Afterwards, convene in the Hamptons Bar for cocktails accompanied by music from the hotel’s resident pianist.
