Spa & Leisure

Inspired and named after the Egyptian queen, Nefertiti, the Amarna Spa has been designed to reflect the famed beauty’s desire for peace and tranquillity as well as her renowned passion for pampering against a backdrop of 22 acres and the quintessentially English vistas of the Surrey Hills.

Contemporary, but sympathetic to the surrounding countryside, the building is spacious and light, and houses a gym, 16-metre swimming pool (with tiled decoration of the Eye of Horus symbol, representing good health), cold temple shower, sauna, steam room and whirlpool alongside treatment rooms offering a variety of treatments which use Thalgo and Decleor products.

Hotel & Accommodation

Formed from a collection of buildings around the hotel’s grounds, there are 42 rooms and garden suites featuring clean lines, neutral tones and utterly modern design. By contrast, five of the rooms remain in the original 15th century Tudor farm house, complete with oak beams, slanting ceilings and bags of character.

The hotel’s award-winning restaurant is the dominating feature in the farmhouse, but provides two contrasting experiences for all meals including afternoon tea. One part of the restaurant – most popular for dinner and for special occasions – is a very cosy and traditional setting in keeping with the building’s history; while an ultra sleek, modern area overlooking the gazebo and ornamental lake provide a light and airy environment, best appreciated over breakfast and lunch.
