For those arriving by car leave the M25 at Junction 10, take the A3 exit onto the M25 slip road to Guildford, continue on A3 for seven miles, take the A25 exit towards Guildford, continue on A320 for 15 miles, turn left onto A320, turn right onto A246, take first exit at the roundabout onto A322, turn left onto A281 and take first exit at the next roundabout, continue straight onto Wonersh Common/B2128, turn left onto Blackheath Lane then turn right.
The nearest railway station is Guildford Station. There is a regular fast service for London Waterloo, which is approximately 40 minutes away, as well as regular trains from Reading, Gatwick Airport and Portsmouth. Gatwick Airport is just a 30 minute drive away.

- When was Barnett Hill Hotel built?
The history of this fabulous Queen Anne-style country house dates back to 1905, when it was constructed by Frank Cook, grandson of renowned travel agent Thomas Cook as a family home. Following his death in 1940, Cook's wife loaned the house to the British Red Cross as a convalescent hospital during WWII, and it became a rehabilitation centre for civilians injured in bombings. Four years later, Mrs Cook sold the house to the Red Cross who turned it into their National Training Centre. In the 1970s, the British Red Cross opened the house to the public. It was bought by Alexander Hotels in October 2016.
