This easy going hotel is complete with a charming health and beauty club set in its grounds. It’s a small space that compliments the hotel experience rather than being a destination spa in its own right, so its the real cherry on top of a relaxed weekend break with a partner or quality time with friends. Very much a place to work out and wind down, it is complete with a gym, outdoor hot tub and both Swedish and infrared saunas.
After that, you are invited to retreat to one of the treatment rooms to enjoy one of their collection of Elemis face or body treatments. The spa also offers beauty treatments and finishing touches ranging from manicures and pedicures to lashes, tanning and waxing.
Sitting in 10 acres of grounds featuring beautifully manicured lawns and woodland, Southcrest Manor is just a four minute drive from Redditch town centre, and 20 minutes from Birmingham Airport, making it a remarkably convenient hideaway. This four star country house hotel offers a sense of historic charm in its design and its service, but the 63 spacious bedrooms also provide contemporary updates to suit the modern traveller.
Dining at the hotel is a fusion of traditional decadence and modern twists. Oscars Restaurant and the Garden Bar provide views of the gardens and a relaxed but elegant space for lunch and dinner. The Garden Bar also does a mean cocktail from Cosmos to Pornstars, but then again, afternoon tea is a traditional ritual for any time of year, and who can resist a good old fashioned Sunday roast?
