Surrounded by the grounds and design of the 19th century mansion, Peels Spa at Tortworth Court is a contemporary juxtaposition to the rest of the building. Providing facilities that include a 12 metre swimming pool, a gym, sauna and spa bath, there is space to work out before winding down.
Using JustBe Botanicals and OPI product lines they also offer a range of treatments including massages, facials, scrubs, manicures, pedicures, finishing touches, and a collection of treatments for men as well.
A Grade II listed Victorian mansion in 30 acres of private gardens, Tortworth Court has a history dating back to 1343 and also played host to Queen Elizabeth II on her visit in 1978. Today the four star hotel has three key elements – its gothic architecture and its location in the famously picturesque Cotswolds, all held together by its four star service. Rooms range from Standard to Four Poster Double Bedrooms which convey a sense of historic grandeur.
There is one restaurant at the hotel – the oak panelled Moreton’s Restaurant featuring ornate archways and an impressive fireplace, which is the fine dining option; while the Atrium Bistro Bar features altogether more contemporary design and a 60 foot high atrium, morphing from light and airy for lunch and afternoon tea to a creative hub using lighting effects in the evening.
