How to Make The Perfect Cocktail

On a day of cocktail-making with body confidence gurus, Ruth Rogers and Natasha Devon from Body Gossip, at Imagine Spa Thames Valley at Hilton Heathrow, we proved the Spabreaks.com theory that a spa break is so much more than just detox and exercise, it’s about relaxation and having  fun, because nothing is as good for mind, body and soul as a genuine smile …

Or as Ruth put it …

I had never considered a cocktail-making course – I’m not a very “girly” girl and I’m also not very good at giving myself time to relax and have fun (I’m a total workaholic!).  But I loved it!  If the idea of sitting around a pool isn’t your cup of tea (and it isn’t really mine) then this is a fun, yet informative, way to spend some quality time with your friends.  Now I can mix a Mojito, a Martini, a Cosmopolitan, and I know how to pour Baileys so it stays on the top of Kahlua!  And I can’t wait to hold a cocktail party in my new flat.  As someone who struggles to relax, my ‘work head’ didn’t engage once – it was pure fun for the whole hour.
