All of us tend to be very hard on our bodies – both in terms of how hard we make them work, and the messages we feed them via that constant internal monologue.

How often have you told yourself you could be better? Should be better? Thinner? Stronger? Harder working? Prettier? Fitter? – It’s a never ending series of personal insults; all things that if you directed them at other people would probably result in a few choice words being fired in your direction as well!

Confidence is one of those characteristics that gives you the power to do anything you set your mind to, and the importance of body confidence should never be underestimated. It isn’t about being a size zero, it isn’t even about having cellulite free thighs, it’s about a lot of different things, and nobody knows that better than body confidence campaigners and founders of Body Gossip , Ruth Rogers and Natasha Devon.

Here, we caught up with them for an interview in The Hot Tub at Imagine Spa Thames Valley to get the gossip on body confidence …
