Is it acceptable to use hand cream as an all over body lotion? In all honesty I don’t care what the answer is. Faced with the possibility of smelling entirely of Sanctuary Spa’s White Lily and Damask Rose Handcare Duo, I would have happily dived nose first into the bottles if I thought that I could fit through the top of the dispenser.
Of course, much as my enthusiasm might mean that I get carried away this is not the purpose of these products. They are designed to put in your bathroom or kitchen to add a little sense of luxury to the rather mundane parts of the day. Not to mention getting rid of that rather unpleasant smell that the washing up gloves have a habit of leaving on your hands.
I love things like this because I really do think that little luxuries throughout the day, if you can manage them, make the world a much happier place. Gorgeous scents when you are going about the housework or are feeling grubby at the end of a long day are a complete mood booster. Not to mention the fact that these particular products focus on an area of your body which works tirelessly, all day every day – how often do you really give your hands the attention they deserve? Those hard working things do deserve a break every now and again you know, and rose water infused hand lotion is just the ticket!
It isn’t just the one scent that you can get your mitts on though; there is a whole range to choose from! The Green Lemon and Orange Blossom ones are also pretty tantalising, as my colleague, Zeina, found out. Between us we really do smell awesome; I don’t care how inappropriate it is to admit it. You would say the same if it was you … which of course it could be for a mere £9.00 a pop – go on, treat yourself!
