Family time at Celtic Manor

Best known as a gorgeous (and famous) golf destination, Celtic Manor also has a wealth of experiences to offer young families, as Spabreaks.com co-founder found out when she visited her family… we’ll let the pictures do the talking!

crazy golf

1. I love this picture, we spent time as a family competing against each other at the ‘awesome’ crazy golf (in the words of my son Freddie, aged seven).

steak at the grill

2. The steak dinner at The Grill restaurant was wonderful, which explains the happy faces! We ate and drank wine while watching the children contently colouring in… it was blissful.

lawns

3. Sitting outside on the stunning lawns at the back of the hotel in the evening sun, we played the giant Connect 4.

cars

4. My seven year old was in awe when the friendly porter showed him a picture of his footballing idol Gareth Bale’s car – he often stays at the hotel.

archery

6. Archery, forest walking, and swimming in five star surroundings really made our family getaway a joy for everyone, which is quite a difficult thing for any one venue to achieve… what more can I say other than thank you!?

fun
