Separate from the hotel itself, the spa is a big, beautiful building with a spectacular 27 treatment rooms in it. Set over two floors, within what is an enormous resort, the feeling when you walk in to be greeted by sea views is simply wonderful. Visitors always stand there for a second and take it in when they first see it, especially if they have come from a city; it’s so special.
The infinity pool with its ocean views is a particular asset to the spa, and something people really value when they visit. Then there is the thermal experience.
It includes six different rooms on the ground floor, and is considered part of the treatment process, so it’s not available to everyone in the spa, just those booked in. The different temperatures are great for boosting energy and the immune system. It’s so good for boosting circulation and is a great experience for groups and hen parties.
Happily, the spa is away from all the noise of the rest of the resort. It’s just for adults, so it’s away from all the noise of other holidaymakers. In truth, it’s a space where people can simply enjoy being here, having treatments and using the facilities.
In addition to therapies, there is a juice bar with a beautiful garden where you can get a smoothie, coffee or lunch, and in the garden there are sunbeds so you can relax and enjoy the environment.
There’s a phenomenal range of treatments, including their own signature therapies. In particular, the full hammam ritual is extremely popular thanks to their specific hammam suites.
They have heated marble beds in them, and unlike other hammam rituals are more relaxing than the traditional ones, which focus on quite a hard treatment.
The staff are also an incredibly important part of the experience. Therapists are from all over the world; Nepal, the Philippines, Russia, Italy, and of course Cyprus itself.
The cultural diversity makes the team very special, and each has their own particular area of expertise. The whole package matters and as a result the comments book is filled with praise for individual therapists as well as the spa as a whole.
