As good fortune would have it, some of the most glamorous racecourses happen to have some of the best spas on their doorsteps, and our sister company Racingbreaks.com can organise it all for you so you can sit back, pop the champagne and start relaxing! Here are the dates to put in your diary…
Starting at the top, Royal Ascot is one of the most glamorous and unique weeks on the racing calendar and Ladies Day is the pinnacle of this social extravaganza. Unlike many other ladies days, Ascot has a stricter dress code, depending on the enclosure you choose, which ensures class and elegance dominate the horizon.
Not only is Ascot the best ladies day but it has some of the top spas on its door step including Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa and Macdonald Berystede Hotel and Spa just a stone’s throw from the course. You can spend the Wednesday being pampered and then the day at the races on Thursday, or after a long day at the races on the Thursday, check into the hotel and have a lazy day on Friday giving those feet a well earned pedicure.
Dates: 22nd June
Tickets from only £5.
Now if you are from the south there is not just Ascot for you to go to, you of course have Epsom just around the corner, the home of the Derby. Epsom Ladies Day is on the Oaks Day, so again great racing and lots going on!
You also have Goodwood, appropriately named Glorious Goodwood, said to be the most stunning course where the view from the top of the grandstand is breathtaking. Surrounded by beautiful rolling hills in the heart of the countryside. There is some beautiful spas in the area to like Spread Eagle Hotel and Spa.

Heading further north, Aintree Ladies Day is the day before the Grand National. Liverpool is all about the glitz and glamour. Liverpool has so much to offer as a city, with great nightlife, perfect for a hen party. Right near the racecourse is The Spa @ Suites Hotel, one of the top spas in the area which would give most spas in the country a run for their money.

Next we head even further north to York, one of the most beautiful courses around and their Ebor Festival is when they really like to show it off. With a new Champagne bar overlooking to parade ring and finish line you really need not move all day. The Ebor Festival is known for its good weather, great racing and generally as a great day out, the Ladies Day is also the Darley Yorkshire Oaks day, so there is plenty of excitement on the track. York itself is a buzzing city and one to take advantage of, with great spots for dinner and great spas like The Grand Hotel & Spa York.
