A day at the races with the girls with a little sunshine and bubbles is already a perfect day out, but to make it even more memorable, why not throw in some of the biggest artists currently topping the charts in a festival style concert after the racing is over?
The Friday nights after racing at Goodwood are something you must put on your summer to do list. They are over three Friday nights in June, and they have a real festival feel with some great artists. This year will see Tinie Tempa and the house DJ legend Pete Tong. Goodwood is full of glamour and in the most beautiful setting so is worth a cheeky weekend away tagged onto it!
The silver fox is back, and he never gets old! I have seen him a few times now and he always gets the crowd going! He will be playing at Sandown Park this year which is an easy train trip out of London and if you have a bit further to travel there is some great spas near by.
Music nights at the races have been growing year on year. This year, once again, is full of big names and there are still more to be announced! So who have we got so far? Jess Glynne will be returning to the races for a second year running, so after last year’s success and almost instant sell out, we recommend getting these tickets as soon as you see them.
Five courses have also announced that Olly Murs will be gracing their stage. This is great news as it should mean that none of us will have to travel too far, and it’s a great opportunity to meet in the middle of locations with friends who live in other parts of the country.
Little Mix will also be returning to Newmarket after a fantastic performance last year, we attended last year and having not been their biggest fans beforehand we left as avid supporters of the girl band thanks to their uncompromising energy.
Other artists include The Kaiser Chiefs at Aintree, UB40 at Doncaster and Clean Bandit at Sandown Park with dozens more expected in the coming weeks!
