Before Valentine’s Day comes Galentine’s Day, a chance to celebrate the real superstars and super supporters in your life – your girlfriends.

Romance might be in their air on 14th, but on 13th it’s all about celebrating those unbreakable bonds with your besties, and what better way than with a group spa getaway?

Needham House Hotel

Needham House Hotel, Hertfordshire

With their exclusive three bedroom woodland lodge in the grounds of the Hertfordshire based hotel, Needham House Hotel is an easy-to-get-to mini break near London. Here, groups of friends can indulge in the hammam, lounge in the relaxation area, luxuriate in a treatment or two and finish it all off with a spot of gin tasting for good measure.

VISIT NEEDHAM HOUSE HOTEL

Stourview Cottage, Kent

Bring on the chocolate making and the belly dancing classes – this luxurious cottage in the Kent countryside is a haven of pampering and relaxation with panoramic views that add to the sense of tranquility. Guests can stay in The ‘Shirehouse’ Log Cabin, The Garden Suite or the Green Room, but with each you are guaranteed a bespoke experience where you bring a bottle and treat it like home with extra frills.

Galgorm

Galgorm Resort and Spa, Ireland

Taking the luxury spa experience to a whole new level, Galgorm Resort and Spa is a decadent hotel in 163 acres of lush parkland. While it’s a romantic destination, its plethora of facilities including the ‘Beltane Experience’ where you relax around a sunken fire before enjoying a dip in the 12 man hot tub make it a group getaway with extra wow factor.

belfry

The Belfry, Birmingham

Stylishly renovated and well known for its sweeping array of facilities and things to do. A favourite spa destination of Denise van Outen, who hailed it as the ultimate girly spa break for all, saying: “for my friend and our two seven year old daughters it was real girly time… there’s mini golf for the kids, so while we had massages our other halves took the girls to play… there’s always something going on so you can stay there and never leave thanks to things like the live music, the buzzing clubhouse and three golf courses.”

VISIT THE BELFRY
