East Sussex National dates back to the 1980s, when Canadian entrepreneur, Brian Turner, had a vision of creating a premier golf destination on what was then the Little Horsted Estate in East Sussex. The American course architect, Robert E Cupp, designed the two courses and by 1990, after two years in development, it opened and was soon recognised as a leading golf destination. The four-Star AA Accredited hotel was added in 2006.

There are also seven treatment rooms where therapists offer a collection of face and body treatments using the esteemed ESPA product line to offer everything from facials and massages to manicures and pedicures.
After your treatment, head to one of two relaxation lounges - The Tranquillity Lounge and The Relaxation Lounge. The spa even has its own dining experience - Eat, Drink, Retreat - where they serve a variety of food throughout the day including healthy brunches, sushi and bubbly cream teas without having to change out of your robe and slippers.
