A rejuvenating space on the Cornish coast, the spa at Fistral Beach is set over two floors. A perfectly formed, adult-only retreat, it’s a hideaway from the outside world designed to relax, invigorate and revitalise. On one floor, the swimming pool sits under a domed, starlit ceiling complete with underwater music and massage cannons. It is surrounded by a steam room and a spa bath as well as a fitness suite where exercise classes are available.
On the other floor you will find nine treatment rooms including one dual room as well as a relaxation lounge. Here, therapists offer a range of face and body treatments using GAIA Skincare, a brand known for its use of effective natural ingredients and highly skilled therapeutic techniques to ensure your wellness is focused on, naturally. They also have a Little Fistral Spa, which focuses on those finishing touches including hair, make-up and nails using Jessica Nails for manicures and pedicures and Mii Cosmetics.
An adult only contemporary seaside hotel, Fistral Beach has a particular asset that money can’t buy; its position right on a cliff top overlooking the sometimes tranquil, sometimes dramatic ocean on the north coast of Cornwall. Letting in lots of natural light, the 71 rooms and suites are modern and stylish with delicate seaside feel to it all and large windows letting in that oh-so-perfect view of the sea.
Food in this part of the world is a real treat, especially if you’re a fan of seafood. Fish on the menu is a real must, but the area is also known for plenty of other local fare. The aptly named Dune Restaurant, which has an AA Rosette, capitalises on those local specialities. capitalises on those local specialities. Open for breakfast and dinner daily, it serves a regularly changing seasonal menu, and it’s recommended that you book for dinner as it is popular. Meanwhile, the Bay Bar is the place for a warming drink, tapas and light bites post surf by day, as well as flowing cocktails by night. If you have a room with a view however, we definitely recommend ordering something from room service at some point, simply to enjoy it as you watch the waves roll by.
