Hotel & Accommodation

Surrounded by its own 70 acre parkland estate, Hall Garth Hotel in County Durham is a converted manor house dating back to the 15th century. The 56 bedrooms enjoy cosy interiors split between the house itself and the Stables; many of which boast views of the surrounding gardens.

There are two dining options on site, so you really are spoilt for choice. The Oswald's restaurant (open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6.30pm-9.30pm) has its own bar and outdoor terrace from which to enjoy the views, making it ideal for outdoor entertaining or a drink on summer evenings. Afternoon tea can also be enjoyed in the Lounges in the main hotel, or alternatively, for a more relaxed and informal atmosphere the hotel has its own pub. The Stables pub (where they serve food from Monday to Sunday 12.00pm-9.30pm) offers traditional pub grub using locally sourced produce.
