Opposite Windsor Castle stands The Harte and Garter Hotel and below the Hotel sits The Stables Spa – A converted 200 year old stable block. In the past king’s and queen’s horses rested here and now this is a special retreat for sophisticated spa breaks. The Thermal Suite is designed to cleanse and detox the body and stimulate circulation. For maximum effect you should try the Crystal Steam Room followed by The Finnish Sauna and the Hydro Pool. To close the pores you should visit the Bucket Shower.

The Tower Brasserie and Tea Room open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Here the skilled Executive Chef creates traditional British dishes using local seasonal produce. Take your time to examine the comprehensive wine list; there is much on offer in there. Afternoon Tea is sheer
