Opposite Windsor Castle stands The Harte and Garter Hotel and below the Hotel sits The Stables Salon – A converted 200 year old stable block. In the past king’s and queen’s horses rested here and now this is a special retreat for sophisticated spa breaks, located just a two minute walk from the main entrance of the hotel. You will melt under the fingertips of the highly skilled therapists who perform a vast menu of treatments with technique and panache.
Please Note: the wet facilities are currently out of order.
After a relaxing day at The Stables Salon you can continue to relax and unwind in the tranquillity of your own room. The hotel has 98 bedrooms, 79 of which are located within the main building and 19 bedrooms in the townhouse, Goswell House, located to the back of the building, a few minutes’ walk from reception. From some rooms you can even watch the changing of the guards! If you desire to lie back in a luxurious roll top bath or four poster bed, you can upgrade to a Premiere Room.
The Tower Brasserie and Tea Room open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Here the skilled Executive Chef creates traditional British dishes using local seasonal produce. Take your time to examine the comprehensive wine list; there is much on offer in there. Afternoon Tea is sheer
British delight at The Tower, with sandwiches, home baked scones served with clotted cream and am as well as daily delicacies to feast up.The hotel does not have onsite car parking, but there are many local car parks a short walk from the hotel. Please do drop your luggage at the hotel entrance loading bay before parking your car. We also highly recommend upgrading to a castle view room for one of the most fantastic views in Windsor.
