The spa is a contemporary addition to the hotel, arriving in 2018 and bringing a touch of elegant modern architecture to offset and complement the otherwise historic style. A purpose-built destination, the facilities include a 12 metre swimming pool and sauna, both with views of the walled garden. There’s a bespoke Vitality Pool operating at 34-36°C with air jets, water massage, neck massage canons and volcano pads; a steam cabin to cleanse and hydrate skin; a tepidarium with curved and profiled relaxation seats for extra comfort; ergonomically designed heated loungers; experience showers alternating audio, colour light therapy and essential oils; and a fully equipped gym which once again looks out onto the gardens.
The spa’s treatment suite has six luxury treatment rooms including a double treatment room and a relaxation lounge. Guests can choose from Elemis and Made for Life relaxing treatments, the spa also offers Cancer Therapy Treatments. After all that pampering, head to the Spa Retail Boutique or maybe the Lounge and Champagne Bar.
A 17th-century manor house in the Cotswold countryside, Hatherley Manor Hotel and Spa is just a 10-minute drive from Gloucester town centre or a 20-minute drive from Cheltenham. Elegantly appointed bedrooms and superior bedrooms feature luxurious styling, while many also enjoy dreamy and romantic views over the gardens and countryside beyond.
