- The Summer Edit
In contemporary juxtaposition to the rest of the hotel, the spa at Homewood House is in a separate building to accommodation, within the picturesque grounds. It is surrounded by an original garden wall and herbs that attract the honey bees in the summer months, while facilities include a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and a heated outdoor pool. There is a champagne nail bar which (naturally) serves the best champagne while you have your manicure or pedicure, and making best use of two treatment rooms, therapists use Elemis and [Comfort Zone] products to deliver a collection of face and body treatments.
With views over the Limpley Stoke valley, Homewood Park is a luxurious country house hotel set in 10 acres of mature parklands and award-winning gardens. What was once the Georgian home of the Abbot at the nearby Carthusian Priory, Homewood Park now has everything a 21st century travel connoisseur could want in its 21 decadently appointed rooms and suites, all enhanced by the inclusion of original features such as exposed wooden floors, antique paintings, and roaring log fires. The hotel is known for its Tides Restaurant, an award-winning fine dining environment headed up by Wojciech Nawalka, who has taken pride in designing a menu of innovative but nonetheless, quintessentially British, cuisine. The restaurant is also able to provide for any particular dietary requirements, and afternoon tea is a West Country must-have.
