Spa & Leisure
Spread over two floors, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental offers calmness to wash over you, away from the busyness of London and manages to perfect the art of escapism in the hub of the capital. Consistently rated as one of the lead urban day spas in London, The Spa combines harmonious design elements with therapeutic rituals and is entirely dedicated to guests’ wellbeing. The facilities on site include eight treatment rooms, male and female sanariums, vitality pools, amethyst crystal steam rooms, a Zen colour therapy relaxation area, and a spa boutique. The fitness centre has a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, and personal trainers on hand to help you embark upon a fitness improvement programme.
With a number of signature spa therapies available, you know you are in good and experienced hands at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental. The treatments available include facials, massages, treatments specifically for men, hot lava shells, and pre-natal treatments. Whilst they use their own rituals, The Spa also uses Aromatherapy Associates and Gaylia Kristensen, Australia, and as far as product houses go, these are some of the best.
Hotel & Accommodation
Located in London’s exclusive Knightsbridge area, the spa overlooks Hyde Park, while boasting a short commute to the likes of the luxurious Sloane Square, Harrods, Green Park and Harvey Nichols. Each of the 169 guestrooms are complete with marble bathrooms and exude comfort and style. There are 25 suites as well, and a butler service is available in the Imperial, Royal, and Presidential Suites.
Eating at the Mandarin Oriental ceases being an everyday necessity and becomes an experience in fine dining with the option between acclaimed British cuisine at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, or authentic French bistro dining at Bar Boulud. The Mandarin Bar is always on hand for a quick night-cap and is one of London’s most popular nightspots. For a lighter treat, the afternoon tea at The Rosebery is a unique experience as the tea blends are crafted to the Mandarin Oriental’s exact specifications, as well as a host of teas created in conjunction with the East India Company.
