The whole Portavadie experience is about leisure time and relaxation, from the location to the design of the destination. Leisure facilities include a 16-metre indoor pool, toddlers’ pool with water features, outdoor spa pools, Scandinavian sauna and what’s rumored to be the largest heated outdoor infinity pool in Scotland. There’s also a gym and a casual dining area in the leisure centre serving handmade pizza and freshly churned ice cream with views across the terrace to the loch.
The spa itself enjoys a light-filled contemporary layout using glass, steel, stone and neutral tones. It’s home to the aforementioned infinity pool, a hydro pool and relaxation spaces and offers treatments from famed product line, Decleor.
On the shores of Loch Fyne in Argyll, Portavadie is a spectacularly beautiful holiday destination with a variety of accommodation available. Ranging from luxury apartments to cosy cottages, studio apartments to an eco retreat, it’s contemporary, high quality and ideal for family breaks, getaways with friends and romantic weekends away.
There are two restaurants at Portavadie, both of which are passionate about using local, seasonal produce. Scottish seafood from the loch and venison from the surrounding hills sit pride of place on the menus with options including waterfront dining in the Marina Restaurant and Bar or hearty, home cooked food in the Lodge Kitchen and Bar.
