Carden Park Hotel first opened as a hotel in 1997, however the estate's history dates to the early 17th century, when the land was acquired by the Leche Family who built an elegant hall and the grounds of the park landscaped and stocked with deer. The Hall was ransacked by Cromwell’s troops but survived until it burnt down in a fire in 1912, although much of the features were reprised in the rebuilt Resort which you see today. The three-acre vineyard was reinstated by the Estates team in 2008, now producing up to 6,000 bottles of Carden Estate Reserve sparkling wine.
