Spa & Leisure
With a philosophy devoted to combining health and total enjoyment, the Y Spa in Bedfordshire is a 21st century spa devoted to all aspects of the relaxation experience, whether for you that means a glass of wine and a slice of cake or something that errs more on the side of detox. The hotel is home to a gym in the 1Life Health and Fitness Club as well as the spa, which are in separate locations. The fitness centre includes state of the art gym with signature Life Fitness equipment and MTS strength equipment as well as a functional playground which offers a punch bag for training, a tri-bar, suspension training points for additional TRX availability and much more. There are also exercise classes, personal training, a sauna and steam room, a 12 metre lap pool for lane swimming, swimming lessons, Power Plates and a Reebok branded combat zone.
Meanwhile, the spa itself was built solely for the purpose of relaxation, with facilities including an 11-metre hydrotherapy pool, and a complete thermal experience featuring a Kelo sauna, salt steam room, a steam room, experience showers, mist showers, glacier showers and a frost wall. There is also a mud rasul, manicure and pedicure stations, 11 treatment rooms, and two relaxation areas, tellingly named, Big Sleep and Time Out. For that extra level of indulgence, there is also a private treatment suite, and of course, a full range of treatments and therapies available using Elemis, Murad, and OPI product lines.
Please note: the spa will be closed between 2nd January - 6th January 2017 due to maintenance.
