Conveniently located two miles from Colchester town centre and surrounded by parkland, Bannatyne Health Club & Spa, Kingsford Park is a day spa experience where it’s all about relaxing, unwinding and escaping, just for a little while.
It has an indulgent spa complete with a swimming pool, relaxation areas (including heated mosaic beds and a water bed room), a sauna, spa bath, steam room and gym, as well as offering classes and packages for hen parties and special occasions.
The spa has 15 treatment rooms including Elemis suites where they carry out an exclusive loft day spa menu including Elemis rituals. They also use their own Bannatyne spa products and OPI. Manicures, pedicures, body treatments and holistic treatments including reflexology and Reiki are all available, as well as treatments for men. Their rasul mud therapy in particular is a favourite treatment - a traditional Arabian cleansing ritual for the whole body.
The restaurant is a key part of the experience, serving British comfort food using locally sourced ingredients. It is open for lunch and dinner providing everything from light bites to an a la carte menu – perfect for post spa treatment relaxation.
