One of the most spectacular elements of the spa at Bedruthan has to be the ever-present view of the sea. Take it in from the hydropool or relax in the Lanai Spa Lounge with herbal teas or wander in the sensory spa garden which is inspired by fire, earth, water, air and space, taking you through seven stages, each drawing on the sights, sounds, aromas and textures of nature. The natural landscape adds to the sense of tranquility and there is no shortage of facilities, many of which work as an intrinsic part of the spa treatments. Between the cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam room, lavender caldarium aroma room, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and traditional hammam with hot stone bed, the spa has a reputation for being amongst the most comprehensive luxury spas in Cornwall.
Spa treatments extend the journey, using their own in-house brand, Oula, as well as the Ayurvedic brand, Tri-Dosha for facials. In a shared philosophy heralding that beauty and wellbeing come from within, Bedruthan offers a range of face and body treatments inspired by nature and perfected by therapeutic knowledge and understanding. Of particular note is the hour-long Spa Garden experience which includes exfoliating salt scrubs, incorporates use of the facilities and encourages you to sit around the fire pit with your feet immersed in hot, copper foot baths whilst sipping a hot, herbal drink afterwards.
With views across the Atlantic, Bedruthan Hotel and Spa is a multi award-winning four star destination on the Cornish coast with more than 40 years of hospitality experience. With a relaxed atmosphere, rooms are simple and contemporary featuring soft creams, teal, and chocolate brown interiors that welcome families and groups with interconnecting rooms accommodating up to five people, as well as villas with sea views.
Dining at Bedruthan draws inspiration from Cornwall's natural larder, serving up a feast of sustainable, local fare. The Wild Café is heart-stoppingly beautiful. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it's light, airy, relaxed and convivial, oriented towards spectacular views of the sea through floor-to-ceiling windows. Ogo at Bedruthan is similarly styled, delivering a feast of sea, garden and field, in a menu that changes with the seasons. There's also the Cocktail Bar & Terrace - a sensory space that takes you from day to night enjoying cocktails and other drinks with views across the bay.
