There are few parts of the UK as beautiful as the Cotswolds, so as you might expect Cotswold House does not disappoint when it comes to aesthetics. Walking through the hotel’s magical gardens, the award-winning spa is a few minutes away from the accommodation down a pretty cobbled pathway. It is for those aged 18 and over only, and once inside you find a world brimming with La Sultane De Saba holistic treatments as well as six treatment rooms, a heated hydrotherapy pool and an aromatic steam room.
Cotswold House Hotel is a boutique venue in the heart of beautiful Cotswold countryside, and moments away from its sister hotel the Noel Arms, which shares use of the spa in the hotel grounds. It prides itself on customer service, while the interiors straddle the line between contemporary and pared-down country chic in a selection of room categories and cottages, two of which have private gardens and hot tubs.
With a wealth of country produce on your doorstep, it is perhaps no surprise that the food here is offers the best of locally churned cheeses, home-reared meat and vegetables and artisan preserves. As a result fine dining at The Fig is sumptuous and utterly enjoyable, while the Bistro on the Square provides a picturesque backdrop for a morning coffee or an evening drink - perhaps one or two of their 80 specialist gins.
