Five Lakes Resort began as the Manifold Golf Club which opened in 1974 comprising what is now the Links course with a clubhouse near to the road. The club was then sold and went through a number of iterations, eventually opening as a hotel and two separate clubs in 1995. After a period of time, the different entities merged and in April 2000 it became the property we know today.

With 12 treatment rooms, the relaxation experience is equally well catered to. The spa uses Elemis products to deliver a selection of massages, facials, scrubs, wraps, manicures, pedicures, and finishing touches as well as reflexology and hopi ear candling.
The first thing that strikes you about Five Lakes is just how contemporary and new the building is – light and spacious, the 194 bedroom venue boasts modern style with sweeping views of the golf courses and surrounding countryside.
