About the spa
In startlingly contemporary contrast to the hotel’s historic architecture, the health spa at Foxhills Club & Resort is a glossy health and fitness arena with facilities including a thermal suite complete with hammam, rasul and ice fountain, a relaxation area, gym, diagnostic suite, holistic studio, tennis and squash courts, outdoor running or nature trail (depending on how energetic you are feeling), fitness classes, and four swimming pools – one indoors, one outdoors, one for families and one for hotel residents only.
Providing a more relaxed element, there is also a spa garden with a natural swimming pool using water purified by plants and minerals, a sauna, hot tub and an Italian design flourish in the form of chairs from the 1930s. The venue’s offerings are completed by a collection of treatments using the British brand, Elemis.
About the accommodation
Set amongst 400 acres, Foxhills is Surrey’s premier golf and spa resort. There are 70 guest rooms and suites ranging from cosy Standard Rooms through to newly refurbished Deluxe Suites, spread around the resort enhancing the feeling of space and tranquility. Overnight guests enjoy use of the Country Club facilities including par three nine hole golf course, tennis and gym, with special resident’s rate for a round on the 18 hole Championship golf courses, ranked in the top 100 courses in England.
Proving their versatility, the resort offers three restaurants. The two AA Rosette Manor Restaurant has multiple facets. Breakfast and lunch are served daily, and both a la carte and tasting menus are available for dinner. The Manor Lounge is the perfect place for afternoon tea or a pre-dinner drink. For a casual bite to eat, Nineteen offers smaller dishes and drinks, whilst the resort’s members and hotel guests can also dine in the Summerhouse, a family-friendly location by the walled garden and outside pool.
