Spa & Leisure

In a contemporary extension to the main building, the spa looks out onto the modestly sized by amply planted gardens, not least of all from the hydrotherapy pool from which you can swim into an outdoor area. There is also an a gym, an 18-metre pool, outdoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, ice igloo, experience showers, relaxation area and six treatment rooms including a double room providing treatments that use the Elemis and Jessica product lines.

Hotel & Accommodation

The main body of the Macdonald Berystede hotel constitutes a historic manor house, with a large staircase and richly coloured interiors. The 126 bedrooms however, are spread across this original structure and a more contemporary wing which also houses the executive rooms (extra beds can be added for families).

In the reception area of the spa, space is set aside for a bento-box lunch and tea is readily available. For larger groups there is the option of a private dining room in the main hotel, and of course there is the main restaurant – the Hyperion, which enjoys the approval of an AA Rosette; or for more casual meals, there is the Diadem Bar or Oak Lounge.
