At the Aqua Spa & Health Club, there’s a state of the art gym facility to work up a sweat in, as well as a swimming pool to dip into. Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa was originally Newlands House, built as a Victorian country house for British journalist John St Loe Strachey. It was renovated multiple times, including being a hospital during World War One. The hotel then fell into disrepair after the war and between 1943 and today the hotel has been renovated multiple times. It was finally sold in 2014 to Dominic Parker and Nahid McNeil who turned it into the luxury boutique hotel we know today.
