A chance to breathe in the fresh air from one of the most spectacular coastal locations in the UK, Cornwall’s Polurrian on The Lizard was completely refurbished in 2019, creating a coastal retreat that embraces the best that the South West has to offer. Accommodation at the hotel ranges from rooms and suites that are simultaneously cosy, comfortable and contemporary, some with views of the sea and others catering to families. Meanwhile, there are also luxurious self catering villas to stay in as well - perfect for families and groups of friends looking out over the Lizard Peninsular. You might even be lucky enough to spot dolphins in the early morning as you sip your cup of tea. Anyone who has been to the South West will tell you that food is a very important part of the experience. Fresh local seafood, locally grown vegetables, seasonal meats and even Cornish rum make it onto the menus here, all carefully woven into Mediterranean style delicacies. There are children’s menus available as well, and hand-stretched pizzas cooked in the wood fired oven are a particular favourite after a day on the beach.
