Hotel & Accommodation
In an unrivalled coastal location that’s just 25 minutes from Dublin, Portmarnock Hotel has a wonderful history having once been the home to the Jameson Distillery dynasty. Today this luxurious hotel takes in sea views and sunset strolls while guests reside in rooms and suites decorated to reflect wind, sea and sand, from the Superior Rooms to family rooms and suites.
The hotel is home to two restaurants and a bar, catering to all moods and occasions. The Seaview naturally takes in magnificent views over the Velvet Strand and Dublin Bay and provides casual all day dining including afternoon tea, while the new 1780 Restaurant offers a refined approach to dining whether it be breakfast or dinner. It probably goes without saying that the Jameson Bar is an ode to the old family - an original oak-panelled space, its high sash windows and original oil hangings are a nod to its historic past.
