A stylish hotel in a historic country house, Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel is a three-star hotel with 30 individually styled bedrooms set over three floors. The restaurant uses locally sourced produce and is a relaxed space with a bar area overlooking the golf course.
Spa facilities include an 18 metre swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness suite, fitness studio, sauna and steam room. There are four treatment rooms including two dual suites where therapists use Elemis products, in a range of face and body treatments.
Accessible facilities include:
- Blue badge parking is available to the front of the Hotel
- The car park is level with a surface of block paving and tarmac
- The drop off areas outside of the hotel are level with the entrance to the building. The entrance doors are two 610mm wide which can be opened individually or separately. An alternative entrance is available to the side of the hotel accessible via a ramp with two 740mm doors
- Full assistance is available for the movement of luggage
- The main reception area is located at the entrance to the hotel on the ground floor with large spaces for wheelchairs and pushchairs
- There is a choice of seating available in the reception lounge which can be used as an alternative space for check-in

The Leisure Club at Shaw Hill Golf Resort & Spa Hotel has a superb and unrivalled reputation as being one of Chorley and Leyland’s finest leisure clubs. Surrounded by 100 acres of landscaped grounds, there is an 18 metre swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness suite, fitness studio, sauna and steam room.
In addition there is an on-site hairdressers while the Health Spa has a new aesthetic wellness clinic. Boutique treatment rooms have heated beds and provide a personal haven where you can relax and unwind with luxurious treatments.
Swimming lessons will be taking place in the pool, so the pool and changing rooms will be busy Saturday and Sundays from 08.00am until 11.00am. Guests wishing for a more relaxing environment are encouraged to use the facilities from 11.30am onwards on those days
A glorious stone mansion built around 1700 by the Crosse family, Shaw Hill Golf and Spa Hotel is still a family run business. Surrounded by Lancashire countryside, there are 30 individually styled bedrooms set over three floors, with a spiralling staircase and glittering chandeliers. Due to the nature of the building there is no lift access to the floors so should you have difficulty with stairs please request ground floor rooms when booking.
The Head Chef prides himself on using high quality locally sourced produce to create the ultimate dining experience for every occasion. Overlooking the golf course, the relaxed restaurant and bar has a reputation for fantastic wholesome quality food. It is a peaceful setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
