Originally built as a hunting lodge, Balmer Lawn Hotel dates back to the mid 1800s, and is one of the most iconic buildings in the heart of the New Forest National Park. During World War One it became an army hospital before being re-transformed into a hotel in the late 1940s. In 1997, Alison and Chris Wilson acquired Balmer Lawn, refurbishing it and making it the hotel it is today.
