The Spa Hotel is part of Ribby Hall Village, a privately owned estate in Wrea Green, Lancashire. The village was established in 1994 by Bill Harrison, who invested in a rundown plot of land and developed it into a thriving holiday destination. His son, Paul Harrison, joined him in 1995 to help with the build of the first holiday cottages. The Spa Hotel opened in 2001 and underwent a £7 million refurbishment in 2011 to become the award-winning spa destination it is today.
The Spa Hotel is located within Ribby Hall Village, situated in Wrea Green in Lancashire. It's around 10 minutes by car from Blackpool, 45 minutes from Preston, and an hour from Manchester. For those who are driving, there's plenty of parking on site and For sat navs use PR4 2PR. The nearest train station is Kirkham & Wesham, which is just 1.3 miles away - there are rail links to the Lake District and many of the UK's major cities, including Manchester, Liverpool and London. The 61 bus service operates between Kirkham & Wesham train station and Ribby Hall Village every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday during the day and every hour on Sunday.

Restricted to over 18s only, Ribby Hall Village facilities include an aroma room, herbal sauna, Balinese salt inhalation room, an aromatherapy room, a saunarium, a hydrotherapy pool, outdoor hot tub and a bar area. There's also a Zen Garden with a salt sauna, monsoon shower, and a second hot tub. There are 11 treatment rooms where therapists use Elemis, Elemis BIOTEC, ishga, NEOM Organics, Mii, and Natural Spa Factory product lines in a collection of face and body treatments.
